Here is How to enter Your Ornament

How to submit your Christmas Ornament

  • Prepare your ornament
  • Prepare one still picture of your ornament. Crop and Edit as desired.
  • If you require multiple views to show off your ornament, combine the pictures into one using suitable photo editing software.
  • Enter information about your ornament and about you in the form at bottom of this page.
  • Receive a confirmation message. This should be very quickly after you click the button.
  • Upload the still picture to DropBox. Link is above the submission form.
  • Receive another confirmation email from As Wood Turns. This may take a day or two.

The challenge submission window will close after November 30th

The 2020 ornament submission period will open November 1st through November 30th. 
Now that you’ve read all that above, there are two parts required to enter your ornament into the Christmas Ornament Challenge.

    9th (2020) Annual Christmas Ornament Challenge Rules and Guidelines.

    Ornaments

    • Must be in good taste
    • Reflect the spirit of Christmas and/or the Christmas season. Non-Christian ornaments are welcome.
    • Any craft is welcome.
    • Any media is welcome.
    • Ornaments must have been made for this season. For example, if you made it years ago, please do not submit it.
    • Anyone can submit ornaments; multiple ornaments may be submitted.
    • We will highlight your ornament in multiple videos. Your submission is your consent.

    Other Details

    • Please ensure you do both the picture upload and the form. Otherwise, we cannot link you to your picture.
    • Picture and personal information must be submitted on or before 11/30/2020.
    • This form submission constitutes acceptance of all rules and conditions of this challenge.
    • A video is not required this year. If you make a video, that’s okay but please host it on your own channel. Put the video URL in your description..
    • Judges will be all viewers via comments to a combined results video to be released in early December. Final results will be published in another video a short time later. We plan to show ornaments in multiple videos during November. We’ll tabulate votes from comments entered for the combined video. Alan Stratton is the referee. Decisions are final. There are no appeals. After all, weโ€™re having fun here.
    • We’ll announce the top vote getters in a final video. No physical prizes will be awarded this year. We found that shipping costs to be excessive especially for our international participants.
    • Legal details – Void where prohibited for any reason.
    • This challenge is free to all participants.
    • Have fun – Be SAFE – Wear your full face shield. Injury or death will disqualify an entry. ๐Ÿ™‚
