This segmented red oak bowl is for a community effort to feed the homeless. It has 9 rings of 16 segments each for a total of 144 segments plus a center bottom of stabilized maple. The stabilized wood is intended to eliminate dangerous wood expansion and contraction that would destroy the bowl. It is finished with wipe-on poly. It stands almost 4 inches in height and 9 inches in diameter at the rim.
